HistoTALK premiered on January 30th, 2011 at 10:00 PM (Eastern). Actually, it was more like 2:30 am on the 31st. Thanks for your patience!

Your host for this ALL Histology (not all guests are Histologists) 1 hour Internet Radio show (Podcast) is former Entertainment Career Consultant & Personal Manager DAVID KEMLER
www.DavidKemler.info, who is also a registered SLS and HT by the ASCP and licensed by the State of Florida as an HTL and Histology Supervisor.

In the Histology field, David is self employed as a freelance MOHS tech. He works all of Central and Southern Florida. For the past seven years, David has given workshops on MOHS and FS's for the NSH at their National Symposium/Convention and Summer Symposium, as well as for Region III.

Within David's 36 years of being a Histologist, he has extensive experience in FS's and the MOHS technique, having been involved with both for over 18 years.

HistoTALK's format is a light and airy talk-radio style. Joining David  are "guests" from the histology field, as well as other medical / industry professionals, who share interesting and informative topics, which in some way, have a direct or indirect connection with the histology field. Guests are interviewed either via telephone or in person at various locations, such as conventions and workshops.

Why not make it date? HistoTALK is currently  produced on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and hits the Internet by 10:00 pm (Eastern). All programs are On-Demand 24/7 so it would be hard for you to miss any of the "exciting" shows! NO EXCUSES!

Tell your colleagues about HistoTALK and David will be sure to tell his colleagues about you!

Would you like to be a guest on HistoTALK? Contact David and let him know what you would like to talk about. Examples: Your State Society - Being Histologist of the Year - Private Histology labs - A book on Histology - Reseach you are doing or have done - Are you a prominent speaker at the NSH Symposium/Convention? Give a "behind the scenes" glimpse of yourself - A particular "cause" that you would like Histologists to become involved in - Basic ASCP exam information - Talk about your involvement or knowledge of state licensing - New or updated CAP or CLIA regulations. Think about it. There are hundreds more!

Don't get bogged down thinking that you need to give a workshop or "teach" something via the telephone. Take off your academic hat and just be yourself and have a fun conversation.
